FAQs

What services do you offer?

1

I provide individual therapy to adolescents and adults. I am trained in AEDP (Immersion) and follow the theory of IFS, CBT, and Gestalt Therapy. My practice is centered on mind-body connection and relational work.

What does a 50 minute session cost?

2

$150 – Supported Rate: For clients experiencing financial hardship.

$185 – Standard Rate: Reflects the actual cost of therapy.

$195 – Community Support Rate: For clients with greater financial flexibility who wish to help subsidize lower-fee appointments.

Your access to care is my highest priority. Please reach out if you are in need of a reduced fee, I am happy to discuss.

Do you accept insurance?

3

I do not accept insurance at this time. Insurance companies tend to sway treatment decisions by requiring diagnosis, progress reports, specific therapeutic interventions, and deadlines for treatment. Without their influence, we have much greater flexibility in type of work we do and the duration. If your insurance provider reimburses for out-of-network therapy, I can provide you with a superbill (like a receipt providing proof of care).

How does therapy work?

4

Therapy is a conversation between you and a therapist, where you can explore thoughts, feelings, behaviors and experiences with safety, compassion, and care. In our first session, we get to know each other and you can tell me as little or as much as you’d like about yourself. Sometimes, it can be hard to open up to a stranger - thats why we will always go at your pace, assessing your level of comfort and keeping things feeling really safe. Our conversations are always confidential. Together, we’ll learn what you’d like to change and work towards healing from the past, accepting the present, and resourcing for the future.
